PEMBROKE, MY NEWEST BOOK ON THE MARKET After experimenting with writing mysteries, child growth and development, recovery, and religious books, I've decided to go back to what I know and love: writing science-based fiction for young adults. I haven't written in this genre since 1963, when I wrote Seashore Zoology, which was adopted by the Castro Valley Unified School District, as a Marine Biology Curriculum Unit for sixth graders. PEMBROKE: The Adventures of Arthur Bacterium and Patty Virus introduces students of science fiction to the world of microorganisms, living in each of our guts, including the gut of Pembroke, a Welsh Corgi that is the Monroe family pet. Comical and out-right bizzaro in parts, this "children's book" will appeal to the creative and imaginative child in all of us. The book is now on Amazon.com and is selling for $13.95 for the soft cover edition and for the special holiday price of $2.00 for the ebook. I can guarantee whomever receives this present for Christmas, Hannakah, or Kwansa will not be delighted. If you like the book, please write a review on Amazon. And . . . if the book does not meet your fancy, remember silence is golden.
